About Our Care Ministries
Care Teams
Offering comfort and hospitality, Care Teams support families during times of loss or transition—providing food, receptions, and care for those grieving or welcoming a new baby.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands provides practical support for church members—meals during illness, rides to appointments, and errands for those who need an extra hand.
Prayer Shawls
The Prayer Shawl Ministry knits love into every stitch. Shawls are blessed and given to those in need of comfort. All knitters—beginners and experienced—are welcome to join this time of fellowship and care.
Soup Group
Four times a year, we gather for cooking, laughter, and fellowship—preparing soup and bread to freeze and deliver to church and community members who are sick, grieving, or in transition. Together, we share care and community through food.
Home Communion
Four times a year, teams bring the Lord’s Supper to our homebound members, extending the table of Christ beyond the church walls. Elders and lay leaders are warmly invited to serve in this ministry of care and connection.
Flower Ministry
A few times each month after worship, this group re-purposes our beautiful sanctuary arrangements into smaller bouquets. Pastors and lay leaders then deliver them to homebound members, sharing beauty, care, and connection.
