Montreat Retreat 2026
We are thrilled to officially invite you to one of the most meaningful weekends in the life of our church—the 2026 Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church Congregational Retreat!
Montreat Camp & Conference Center, Montreat, NC
April 24–26, 2026
This retreat is for everyone—all ages, all stages, from both campuses. It’s a chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life, reconnect with God, and deepen relationships across our church family in the beautiful setting of Montreat.
Retreat Theme
By Still Waters: God’s Presence for Our Problems
What do we do when life feels overwhelming or out of control? This year, we’ll journey together through Psalm 23, discovering how ancient words still speak hope, restoration, and peace into the complexities of modern life. From darkness to mercy, wandering to home, we will be led by the Good Shepherd toward still waters.
Retreat Speakers
Rev. Josh and Rev. Lara Musser Gritter
Co-Senior Pastors, First Presbyterian Church of Salisbury. Josh and Lara bring warmth, wisdom, humor, and deep pastoral insight as they proclaim the good news of our Good Shepherd and help connect faith to everyday life. We are delighted to learn, worship, and laugh alongside them.
